Second Grade News

The second grade wanted to end the year on a positive note.  They wanted

to share how fascinated they were by each stage in the development of their

butterflies.  They were very excited to see them emerge from their

chrysalids!  They were excited to release them in Lynn Woods this past

week.

Past News

The second graders are learning telling time and calendars in math.

In science they are learning about butterflies.  They have received their butterfly eggs (larva) and have begun their study.  They are excited about watching the caterpillars change.

In language, the students are working on tenses and writing questions.  They will also write a contrasting, narrative writing on frogs and toads.
